Do you enjoy interacting with Veterans and have basic online navigating skills? Volunteers are needed to assist Veterans enrolling in Beneficiary Travel's new National Self Service System.

BeneTravel Volunteers will use a computer, tablet or other electronic device to demonstrate and help Veterans navigate enrolling in the new electronic travel pay program.

Ideal Volunteers will have good customer service skills, be comfortable approaching and engaging with Veterans, have some basic computer skills and/or a willingness to learn, are able to problem solve and are a collaborative and team player.

Volunteer shifts are available between 8:00am and 3:00pm Monday through Friday.

A resume is not required but can be submitted before or during the initial new volunteer appointment with CDCE.

The Minneapolis VA Health Care System provides for the health care needs of Veterans in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

  • A commitment of 4 hours per week for a 6-month time period is required
  • Candidates must pass a background check and complete required training including patient privacy awareness. Candidates will be asked to submit immunization records and may be asked to complete a tuberculosis screening test.
