Paiva Netto Education and Social Assistance Center aims to perceive students in their entirety and seek "a view beyond the intellect", recognizing that the whole development of human beings requires efforts in multiple dimensions. That is why, the motto of our school system states: "Here one studies - brain and heart are formed.". At the LGW, we believe that education is only complete when it balances academic curriculum with essential and universal character-building values. Thus, what you find in our educational center, from the well equipped infrastructure (with age-appropriate furniture), the well prepared staff and faculty, in addition to the meaningful learning goals, all serves the purpose of caring and awaken the potential that exists in each of our students, supporting them in their biological, socioemotional, and spiritual needs. Our peaceful, loving and caring environment encourages autonomy and reinforces children’s initiative, respecting diverse cultures and origins, by valuing all reflections that arouse fraternal and empathetic thoughts and feelings. Inspired by the New Commandment of Jesus: "Love one another as I have loved you", the LGW’s Center offers an all-encompassing ecumenical atmosphere that fosters a Culture of Peace and Goodwill.
