Online Basic English Conversation tutors wanted for Adult Education learners
Call for online volunteer tutors to work one-on-one with adult learners to help improve English conversation and speaking skills. Sign up today to help!

  • FLEXIBLE dates and schedules: We currently are looking for individuals for evenings and weekends
  • Online Volunteer Orientation available!

Schedule:
Fully flexible. We seek to match online volunteers with students based on availability for approximately 1.5 hours a session.
Choose from:
Evenings (weekdays)
Weekends: Saturday or Sunday between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST

Frequency:
Minimum: 1-2 hours, per session, once per week

Qualifications/Experience:
Excellent English speaking and communication skills
Minimum education level: High School Diploma
Basic Tutor Training and Orientation (available online!)
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

The Learning Exchange (TLE)/Centre Lire-Écrire is a volunteer not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing:

* Adult Literacy and Tutoring: One-on-one and small group instruction to adults in need
* Volunteer/Tutor Training
* Public Awareness and Sensitization
* Volunteer/Student Recruitment
* Community Resource and Learning Centre
* Volunteer/Student Outreach and Retention
* Prevention and Intervention
