Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are entirely dependent on public donations. We are looking for volunteers to champion our fundraising program!
We have a wide variety of ways in which we are in need of help with fundraising, ranging from writing fundraising posts for social media, creating graphics and/or videos for fundraising purposes, grant applications, and identifying and leading new fundraising opportunities (e.g., flyers, email campaigns).
This is a rewarding, pleasant opportunity to help pigeons. Your help is urgently needed!

To save the lives of homeless domestic and non-releasable pigeons and doves in the Great Lakes region, who otherwise would face euthanasia or a slow death from lack of care, by providing foster homes, adoption services, medical treatment, and compassionate education about the need for pigeon and dove rescue.
Description
To address the absence of rescue and adoption services for pigeons and doves in the Great Lakes region. To enhance awareness of the suitability of rescued pigeons and doves as pets, especially as an alternative to the exotic pet trade. To advocate for pigeons and doves, and in doing so foster compassion for all living creatures.
