Joyful volunteers bring cooked foods and smiles. As they serve the homeless peoples, volunteers can also donate their surplus clean clothes, shoes, coats, blankets, tents, socks, and hygiene kits to give out to our beloved clientele.

Why: Volunteers will see up close how to help our belove homeless U.S. Vets and other beloved homeless people living on the Streets of the World's famous Dtla. CA.

Who: Our organization provides gateway for joyful volunteers to serve our beloved homeless US Vets and other's that live on the Streets of world famous historic Skidrow CA

What to Expect:

Joyful volunteers set up tables and serve the cooked dish that they brought to donate, take group pictures, and hear about our 2025 service calendar.

What you joyfully bring is what you joyfully serve with a smile

sweep dining room floors, wipe down counters, and carry out trash services

Ensure food is cooked and stored at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens

Rinse trays before placing them into dishwashers

What's Required:

Bring food that you cooked.

Volunteers are expected to stay at least and smile a lot for one hour.

First time adult volunteers must bring a photo CA ID or school id or Passport and $30 for background check.

Any volunteer under the age of 18 will need to bring and have a signed Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minors. The form can be found on the L.A. Works website Q&A section.

We clean sweep the side walks of world famous skid row on Saturdays 9am-11am

we need sweeper to sweep the side walks then bag and dump trash in local dumper? water the flower bed? power wash the side walks,paint donated trash cans, paint murals, plant trees, bring food to feed the homeless vets, read out loud to kids every Thursday for 10mins then give a 5 mins Q&A on why reading is fun, cook food to bring for Xmas eve feeding, collect and give out winter coats, do data entry, phone banking, marketing, and branding design.
