Mission Statement

The mission of the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library is to meet the cultural, educational, and informational needs of the residents of the City of Monterey Park by providing free and open access to its resources and services. The LAMP (Literacy for All of Monterey Park) Program is one avenue of fulfilling this mission.

Description

The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library was one of the first libraries in California to offer literacy services as part of the California Literacy Campaign (CLC), sponsored by the California State Library.
