Join Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group on the King County Parks-owned West Sammamish River Trail in Woodinville to restore Chinook salmon habitat! We are in the process of removing Himalayan blackberry from a 1200 foot stretch of river bank and mulching the site to prevent re-growth. Your help and support is so valuable and necessary to getting this work done! We may even get to plant some trees!
Upon signing up you will receive an email with information on how to access the site. If you are under 18 and attending without a parent or guardian, please also print and fill out the Youth Waiver Form attached to the confirmation email and bring it with you to the event!
Important note: King County Parks requires all volunteers on county property 12 years old and over to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. We will ask for proof of vaccination at the event!

Mission Statement
Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group works to involve local people in projects that will ensure a future for wild salmon.
Description
Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group is dedicated to helping landowners and communities protect their local fish. We practice fisheries and stream restoration in the King and Kitsap Counties in Washington State. Our service area includes the Green/Duwamish River watershed, the Lake Washington/Cedar River watershed, isolated streams flowing into Puget Sound in King County, and all watersheds in eastern Kitsap County. We use habitat restoration projects - such as streamside fencing, native tree planting, and fish passage improvements - as catalysts to building community partnerships. As one of 14 Regional Fisheries Enhancement Groups in Washington State, we are part of a coordinated effort to restore fish habitat in the state.
