  • 47 people are interested

The Azusa City Library Literacy Program is recruiting adult volunteer tutors (18 and older, please) to help adults in all of our programs. Would you like to help someone improve their literacy skills to get a new job, read to their children, prepare for the U.S. citizenship exam or interview, learn to read and write in Spanish to become ESL learners, or be more engaged in society? If you answered yes, this opportunity is for you!

If you're interested, please apply online at: https://form.jotform.com/232127946909061

Once we receive your application, we will contact you with next steps. If selected as a tutor, you will receive an orientation and professional training at no cost to you. Once training is completed, you will be matched with an adult learner. Tutor sessions will be scheduled at your convenience, once or twice a week for up to 1.5 hours per session.

For more information, email Sarah, Literacy Assistant, at sarah.sung@AzusaCa.gov or call 626-633-4476.

Thank you for your commitment to helping individuals transform their lives, and we hope to hear from you soon!
