PALS

PALS relies on the generosity of our volunteers to ensure the sustainability of our organization. Whether you’d like to volunteer once a month, once a week, or on your own schedule, we have a volunteer position to match your interests.

Barn Help: This job is specifically for helping in the barn with mucking stalls, filling water buckets, racking the dirt aisle way, cleaning tack, picking up and taking out trash, doing laundry, etc.

Side-walking: This job is to assist the client during therapeutic riding lessons.

Leading: This job will be leading the horse during therapeutic riding lessons. You will be responsible for getting the horse groomed and tack on time for the lesson.

Our volunteer orientation sessions are designed to let you know what opportunities are available at PALS.

Program volunteers interact closely with PALS clients and our horses to ensure the highest quality sessions are provided on a daily basis. Programs include: adaptive riding, recreational riding, ground programming, and seasonal client events. Have some special experience? Ask us about helping in the office!
