Work with groups of 10-20 high school students for a day teaching them about international education and travel opportunities and their benefits. Educate about trip planning, cultural research, and travel budgeting. Assist with passport applications and share about your own travel experiences/study abroad experiences (if applicable). Virtual and in-person opportunities available.

About BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

Location:

2662 CHERRY ST, DENVER, CO 80207, US

Mission Statement

Blessed to Be a Blessing (B2baB) assists low-income and underrepresented students in achieving equal access to cross-cultural and global experiences through educational programs and scholarships.

Description

B2baB is a young organization looking to bring our programs and three step pipeline to equal access to full fruition in 2023.

  • Step 1: Introduce Knowledge- Through our free online school, The Blessed Scholars Online Travel Academy (BSOTA) we have courses that introduce knowledge about travel, international education and their benefits to anyone that wishes to learn.
  • Step 2: Reinforce Knowledge and Remove Barriers- Done through our first-of-its-kind program, the Global Access Passport Program (GAPP). Students reinforce the knowledge gained from the online programs through the in-person practice of trip planning and budgeting, completing cultural research on a country of interest, and learning about study abroad and scholarship opportunities. After completion students will soon receive a passport to make it all possible.
  • Step 3: Create Access through Scholarships. We wish to award our first scholarship(s) for the Fall 2023 semester
