Got some free time? Want to brighten someone's day? Bring light and love into someone's life by becoming a volunteer at Bethany Hospice. We are looking for companion volunteers to visit with our patients nearing end of life in their homes or long term care facilities. Bethany Volunteers are caring and committed people. Volunteers are a crucial part of the quality care team we provide. There is no greater gift you can give to others than the gift of compassion. We would love to hear from you soon. Bethany Hospice is a dedicated team of diverse individuals who are all committed to upholding the principles of hospice as outlined in our mission:To guide all those who have been touched in some way by a life limiting illness, offering a comprehensive approach to comfort care, and ensuring a dignified quality of life.
Founded in 2004 by Diane Mead, RN, BSN, we are a community-based hospice serving patients in their homes throughout Allegheny County and in parts of Beaver, Butler, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. We are committed to delivering the highest quality services to our patients and their families, and to serving the community through service and education.
