We are actively seeking enthusiastic volunteers eager to make a difference in the lives of homebound seniors in our community by delivering groceries, protein, bread and paper products to them on the 1st and/or 3rd Saturday of each month. Choose either the 1st and/or 3rd Saturday or both, depending on what suits your schedule best! The routes are designed to take a maximum of 2 and a half hours.
Oftentimes, our compassionate volunteer drivers serve as the sole friendly face these seniors encounter throughout the month, making your participation immensely impactful.

Mission Statement
Helping Hands of Vegas Valley (HHOVV) mission is to improve the quality of life for Senior Citizens and their families in order to maintain their dignity and independence. Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, a 501c3 (2000), with a volunteer Board of Directors is working to provide access to basic services for the senior population in the Las Vegas Valley area at no cost to them. We believe that every senior deserves to live a happy and healthy life, and we strive to make that a reality for all of our clients. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to ensure that seniors have access to the resources they need to live fulfilling lives. Serving Seniors 60 and Greater in Our Community Since 2000
Helping Hands of Vegas Valley (HHOVV) is a dedicated non-profit organization that offers five essential programs to low-income seniors aged 60 and greater in the Las Vegas community, completely free of charge. Each month, we proudly serve over 3,500 seniors who rely on our comprehensive programs and services to support and enhance their quality of life.Helping Hands of Vegas Valley (HHOVV) is a dedicated non-profit organization that offers five essential programs to low-income seniors aged 60 and above in the Las Vegas community, completely free of charge. Each month, we proudly serve over 3,500 seniors who rely on our comprehensive programs and services to support and enhance their quality of life.
Our programs include:
A well-stocked pantry providing nutritious food items
Respite care for caregivers, offering much-needed breaks
Reliable transportation services to medical appointments and other essential destinations
Minor home repair assistance to ensure safe and comfortable living conditions
Nutrition programs designed to promote healthy eating habits and overall well-being
All types of volunteers are welcome: Groups, families, individuals, organizations. One time commitments to long term commitments!

REQUIREMENTS
- Driver's License Needed
- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Each route consists of 6-8 stops, with no more than 10 minutes between them. Routes are designed to take a maximum of two and a half hours to complete. Drivers are assigned routes as close to their home locations as possible for their convenience.
