Yanaguana is the Briscoe museum's annual celebration of Native American and Indigenous culture in the American West. We will have activities and craft stations, artist demonstrations, performers, food, and music throughout the day. Description
The Briscoe Western Art Museum showcases historic and contemporary art and artifacts that highlight the American West. The Museum is housed in San Antonio's 1930's central library building, beautifully restored to its original glory. Vaquero, American Indian, and Cowboy narratives come to life through painting sculpture, photography, and exquisitely crafted artifacts.
