Donor Dash is Transplant Community Alliance's annual fundraiser that includes a 10K and 5K run, coupled with a 1K family fun run. In addition to the races, we will have a Vendor Village, Silent Auction and Kids Zone. Join us an help with multiple elements of the event, setup, tear down and kids zone.
Donor Dash honors the dignity of deceased donors and their families who made a selfless decision to donate their organs. All proceeds benefit our Living Assistance Fund. This fund provides much needed services to transplant recipients such as medication, temporary housing, and travel through the transplant process and beyond.

Mission Statement
Transplant Community Alliance offers resources at no cost to transplant recipients and their families. Transplant Community Alliance has been supporting the Arizona transplant community for over 28 years. Our support services include financial assistance, social and psychological support, education, transplantation advocacy and encouragement for recipients to live healthy, active lifestyles. We provide an opportunity to find answers and comfort with people that are intimately familiar with living with a transplant.
Description
Our purpose is to provide economic, educational, social, and psychological assistance to be instrumental in helping to achieve successful outcomes for patients receiving organ transplants, from the time they are placed on the list to their return to mainstream life. We also advocate for the urgent need to register Arizonans as organ and tissue donors.Social Support - We create and foster a spirit of association and camaraderie among the members of this society, host a weekly social support group for recipients, their families or caregivers, and facilitate relevant continuing education for the transplant community. Financial Support - We help fund housing and transportation needs associated with transplantation to those needing financial assistance, bridge financial gaps related to prescribed medications and copays, and offer resources and knowledge of insurance and reimbursement claims. Advocacy - We advocate for organ transplantation and raise awareness of the need for Arizonans to register as organ donors through our online presence, our membership and public events. Promote Healthy Lifestyles - We encourage organ transplant recipients to be involved in Transplant Team Arizona and DonateLife Transplant Games to demonstrate the effectiveness of the transplantation process, assist recipients with the costs associated with participation in the Games, and prove transplantation is not a disability but a second chance at a full and productive life.
