Sleep Under the Stars is New Castle County's premier fall event. Families spend the day in beautiful Carousel Park enjoying fall activities and then camp overnight! Visitors enjoy fall crafts, games, food trucks, bonfires, a movie under the stars, a DJ, tent decorating contests, tent-to-tent trick-or-treating, and more.
We need volunteers to help from morning 'till night with a variety of tasks including: directing traffic/parking, camper check-in, gear loading, tent building, arts and crafts, pumpkin decorating, games and activities, moon bounces, hayrides, and more!! Once your shift is over stay for free and enjoy the fall fun!
