Our volunteers play a huge roll in our farm ministry. If you want to learn about farming, bees & gardening-then you've come to the right place. We love our volunteers, and much of our daily chore list is completed by individual and group volunteers working side by side. We rely on a team of volunteers to help with the daily task list, as well as miscellaneous jobs that arise. If you have a specific skill or gift that you would like to offer be sure to indicate that on your application.

Grow Your Own

Learn and assist in the ins and outs of growing your own food, seed planting and care, plant maintenance and pest control. Learn about harvesting food, dehydrating and other preservation methods.

About Soaring Chicken Farm Ministry

Location:

1302 Felipe, San Clemente, CA 92672, US

Mission Statement

Soaring Chicken Farm Ministry started with 4 chickens, a love for gardening and nature, and a passion to make a difference. Soaring Chicken Farm is like no other. Rather than growing and selling crops and livestock to provide food for stores and to make an income, we are a non profit that works to build community and equip one another to provide for themselves. We teach ways to to become self sustainable and live off of the land that God has provided for us, and how to reconnect with the animals and resources that He has blessed us with. We love helping others and teaching that our trials can become our triumphs, and that there can be beauty in the ashes- whatever stage or walk of life you are in. Come be at peace and see what God is doing on our farm.

Description

Seeing the importance in agriculture and farming, as well as the need for love and community, we formed our ministry. We provide a safe environment with many different opportunities for growth, confidence building, and empowerment, all while sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to help heal, empower and educate others while spreading the love of Jesus. Our goal is to create community that will inspire both children and adults, to engage in, learn about, and enjoy agriculture and the natural environment and resources God has provided for us. Our volunteers and donors provide the momentum that allow us to grow in hope while creating community.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to milk a goat? Or how to collect honey from a hive of bees? Our ministry offers countless opportunities like these for all ages, to interact hands on with animals, learn about healthy soil, growing your own food, beekeeping, homesteading, and so much more. The foundation of our ministry is to be an extension of the love of God and share with others all that He has provided for us. We build community, invest in and empower others, all while giving back and restoring the earth.
