Meet with key VA leaders, community leaders and other like-minded nonprofit leaders. Promote the site and build relationships within the Houston area by serving a Site Coordinator for Soldiers’ Angels.
Work with local donors, including individuals and businesses to facilitate relationships.
Develop local partnership opportunities and attend working groups, chamber events, and other key events focused on collaboration and networking in the assigned community.
Oversee VA and Community Representatives; the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers and growth of site; as well as, all special events and coordinating the distribution of goods and services.
Coordination of the volunteer resources of Soldiers’ Angels and all aspects of their participation in the assigned community and at the VA.
Request and manage inventory for veteran patients within the VA and the community.
Track national campaigns (donations Girl Scout Cookies etc.), to include picture requirement.
