Perspectives’ Kids Cafe team and Kids Cafe volunteers work with children and their parents to improve children’s access to nutritious food, increase healthy food behaviors and lifestyle choices, and support student learning. The program serves children impacted by food insecurity and poverty, ages 33 months through eighth grade, who reside in St. Louis Park, at our housing campus and within the St. Louis Park community. Volunteers help students be actively involved in the meal planning and cooking process, empowering them to make healthier eating choices by increasing their knowledge of nutritious foods. Please also ask us about our "Guest Chef" Opportunities! Shifts are 9:00 am-1:00 pm AND 1:00 pm-3:00 pm.
