We need volunteers to help us care for our rescues! You can help with exercising dogs, feeding them, cleaning up their areas, taking them for a walk or just sitting and socializing with them. If cats are more to your liking we need help with them too! We have a free roam cat room and lots of friendly kitties. Shifts are 3 hours and although there is not a time requirement we ask that if you do sign up for a shift you stay for the entire shift. You can come once a month, once a week or every day whatever your schedule permits!
We do a monthly volunteer orientation and we have a shadow day following orientation where you will be able to work alongside a more seasoned volunteer. After that you can sign up for whatever area you want to work in and whatever day(s).
Come work with our cats and dogs - it's good for them and will be good for you too!

We are a no-kill animal shelter located in NE Phoenix. We have been in operation since August 2009. In addition to adoption program we have low-cost vaccine clinic and a low cost dental clinic.
