Wood4Good is a Chittenden county woodbank that helps families in need. We help families who have been affected by job loss, loss of housing, Veterans, Covid related situations, and any reason why someone is not able to keep their home warm.
We need your help reached out to local business to spread the word of our cause, using social Media to update and bring attention to this important need. Additionally, we need help in Grant writing and business outreach

Mission Statement
Wood4Good was founded in 2019 by Eric Axelrod and his two young sons and recently received official non-profit status. Through volunteer efforts and local fundraising, this wood bank helps neighbors stay warm by providing seasoned firewood to families in need. With almost forty percent of Vermonters using wood as a heat source in their homes, Wood4Good can directly impact the lives of community members in need. As a volunteer run wood shelf, Wood4Good directly impacts neighbors in our community by providing those in need with seasoned firewood to help heat their homes. In the same way there are no need based requirements for utilizing a food shelf, residents of Chittenden County can submit requests for firewood assistance and will be granted delivery without question. Wood4Good and the Axelrod family believe strongly in the value of building community, giving back, and the joy that comes from working hard to help others.
Description
Wood4Good Process and Distributes seasoned firewood to Chittenden county residents. We distributed 50 cords last winter, this winter we will do 150 cords and next winter our goal is 200+ cords of firewood. Our woodlot is located in Jericho
