Are you built to serve?
Join Team Rubicon, a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises.
We are calling all military veterans, first responders, and kick ass civilians ready to help people on their worst day.
There are no ranks in Team Rubicon - just a common mission and a spirit of service.
We provide key services to help protect life and structures. We tarp roofs. Board windows. Muck and gut flooded homes. Survey affected sites. Clear routes and remove debris. We knock out daunting jobs that are impossible to achieve alone.
If you have specialized skills, like operating heavy equipment, we’ll plug you in. If you want to build your skillset, we’ll teach you!
Team Rubicon provides year-round, online and in-person trainings and engagements to support communities and improve service deliveries. From Sawyer (Chainsaw Operator) classes to Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, we'll ensure you feel ready and skilled up to help communities in need.
Ready to join the ranks? Sign up in minutes and complete initial orientation un under 1 hour. We’ll take care of the rest.
See you in the field!

Mission Statement
Team Rubicon is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises.
Description
On January 12, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake shakes Port-au-Prince. In the days following, two Marines, Jake Wood and William McNulty, decided to act. Gathering supplies and volunteers, the small group of veterans, first responders, and medical professionals deployed to Haiti. Crossing over the Artibonite River, the natural border between the Dominican Republic and Haiti, the small team of eight volunteers called themselves "Team Rubicon" in reference to the Rubicon River in Rome - by crossing their Rubicon, the team acknowledged they were irrevocably committed to their task of helping those in need.
Team Rubicon is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that utilizes the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams. Founded in 2010, Team Rubicon has deployed across the United States and around the world to provide immediate relief to those impacted by disasters and humanitarian crises.
