AID is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in Washington State, USA to support programs in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in Africa. The organization is in Special Consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations (UN).

We are currently in need of professionals in different fields, including non-profit, fundraising, grants, grant writing, research, advocacy, etc., who will be willing to volunteer and serve on our Board of Directors team.

Furthermore, we're looking forward to individuals who can help us rise from the ashes of the COVID-19 crisis. Most of the projects the organization was working on and those that were in the pipeline came to an abrupt halt thereby forcing us to scale down our operations by approximately 95%. It is against this backdrop that we're looking out for highly motivated professionals who will be willing to give helping hands in ensuring that the hopes and aspirations of the constituents we serve are kept alive.

Every now and then we received requests from different communities across Africa to help keep girls in school, build schools for poor rural communities, provide safe drinking water and sanitation, help women rise up against abuse, etc.

If you're someone who thinks that can help in any way possible to contribute to the goals and mission of the organization, please feel free to join us and help transform lives and communities in Sierra Leone and other parts of Africa.

For more information about our nonprofit organization, please visit our website at www.aidonline.org.

Mission Statement

The Organization's mission is to promote and enhance the capabilities of children, youth and women in Africa to effect positive social change that would bring about development in their lives and communities.

Description

AID is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in the State of Washington, USA to Support Development in Africa. We advocate for the rights of humanity and render services for the holistic development of people and their communities.

Our main targets are Children, Youth, Women and minority groups because of the many challenging issues surrounding their growth and developments, especially in this part of the world where women, youth and children continue to face violence and abuse in their daily lives.

In a world where competition is high and the battle for survival is tough, and the available resources are limited despite the many raw materials with which the continent is endowed with, AID seeks to Educate and Advocate for equal access to opportunities regardless of gender, tribe or race and further provide relevant services for the survival and development of Africa.

A s we seek to promote human development holistically by tackling poverty through advocacy and service delivery at community, local and national levels, the organization does have several programs through which it has designed methods and strategies to reach its target beneficiaries at all levels.
