Volunteer Tutors are the cornerstone of UPLIFT's Kids At Heart Tutoring Program. The goal of UPLIFT is to leverage community support through volunteerism and provide low-income students with individualized attention in the form of tutoring and mentorship.

Tutors meet with students either virtually or at tutoring sites and primarily assist with homework help in reading, writing, or math. On-site tutors meet students at partnering locations and sign in and out with identified Site Coordinators. Virtual tutors record tutoring sessions and send them via Dropbox. UPLIFT provides monthly tutor training opportunities and technical support from the Program Manager. All Kids At Heart Participants are welcome to UPLIFT's annual end-of-school-year picnic celebration.
