WHAM

WHAM in 2023 served more than 2.2 million pounds of food to more than 131,000 individuals on the west side of Houston. WHAM provided over one million dollars in financial assistance to needy families. Over 500,000 pounds of clothes, shoes, metal, plastic, books and electronics were recycled as WHAM strives to improve the environment that we all live in.

Want to help continue this impact in 2024? Volunteer at our donation center here at WHAM, where proceeds from purchases made through the WHAM resale store help contribute to the extraordinary impact that is occurring in our community. With WHAM, families, and individuals go from a crisis to help to sustainability. A proven system of excellence and guidance.

Volunteering at our Donation Center just twice a week dramatically impacts our mission to serve the west side of Houston through our various programs.

Tasks: Sorting, recycling, pricing, and smiling, knowing you are helping families and individuals in need.
