This opportunity is a great option for people who enjoy being outside, working in teams, or working alone. Volunteers in this position are needed weekly to help our program keep horse turnouts clean! You would be able to come on days that work best for you, and the times that work best for you. In addition, we have a super fun four wheeler to help you transport the products!

Description

Welcome to Scooter's Place!

Scooter’s Place is a local non-profit organization serving the children’s community, especially those who need just a little more patience, including children on the Autism spectrum, children with anxiety disorders and those with Down Syndrome. Scooter’s Place is neither a therapeutic barn nor a mainstream barn but somewhere in between, offering a fun and flexible, but structured and safe environment to learn in. We offer horsemanship education that teaches life skills, self-confidence, and body awareness in a non-restrictive and non-judgmental barn environment.
