The City of Philadelphia's Mayor's Office of Education is looking for Adult Education Tutors to help adult learners in Philadelphia develop their literacy, math, and/or digital skills. Adult Learners could be studying English for Speakers of Other Languages, Adult Basic Education, GED Prep or High School Equivalency, Workforce Development, and/or basic Digital Skills.
Before being matched with a learner, tutors complete a 12-hour digital credential certification training through the Mayor's Office of Education. The training is completely online and free. Once matched, tutors will have the support of the education provider and will have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
