Music x Flowers at South Coast Botanic Garden will highlight African Americans in floriculture through a series of immersive experiences, including classes, music, fashion and interactive spaces. All are welcome to enjoy the daytime activities, which includes two Wellness x Flowers programs (at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) which feature gentle yoga, guided meditations and floral arranging. Both of these programs have limited availability and require advance registration to reserve your spot, which you can do below. Throughout the day, there will also be local artists working on five major floriculture installations that visitors can watch being created... and all of that is before the Garden is transformed into a memorable night time experience. Volunteer opportunities include daytime and nighttime greeters as well as artist assistants! If you have any questions, please contact learning@southcoastbotanicgarden.org.
