The Woodman Museum is looking for volunteer actors of all ages for our annual Voices from the Cemetery tour in Pine Hill Cemetery. The event will be from 10am-4pm October 12-13, 2024. Please email Jonathan Nichols at director@woodmanmuseum.org or call (603) 742-7680 for more information.

Acting/memorization skills not required; you will have a script to refer to, as a guide or playing the role of a dear, departed citizen of Dover NH.

As a role player, bring former residents of Dover back to life and regale patrons with tales of mirth, woe, and amazement! You might lift your voice as a strong woman who accomplished remarkable feats, an entrepreneurial businessman, a tragic soul, or an intrepid early colonial settler.

As a guide, lead patrons through the cemetery’s well-worn paths on a guided tour of multiple burial sites. Impart stories about centuries of Dover history and introduce the public to some of Dover's more colorful former citizens.
