Parents and guardians can expect the highest quality learning and care for their children ages 16 months to 5 years with year-round enrollment at Wilder’s Child Development Center. Our staff and teachers continually recognize and strive to meet the diverse needs, abilities, interests, and cultures of children and families, where each person is valued and respected as a contributor in our classroom environment.

We would love to have an individual or pair share your knowledge about soccer, basketball, kickball, and/or baseball/softball with our students ages 2 to 5 on a regular weekly basis. You will prepare a quick lesson and then play with the kids.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare activity content prior to your volunteer shift each week and connect with staff to develop plans
• Provide a brief interactive weekly or bi-weekly lesson with kids at our Child Development Center (nothing too technical - just the basics!)
• Support our kids in playing the sport or game; younger kids may be solely play time and may involve more than one sport
• Option to volunteer solo or volunteer with friends or teammates; volunteers must be age 16 and up
