Tiny Tots brings incredible immersive and interactive orchestra performances to young children, their families, schools, and caregivers all around metro Denver. Volunteers are needed for so many important tasks- setting up for the concert, handing out programs, ushering the audience in and out of the space, manning activity stations, and more.
We are seeking volunteers who love to be around kids! No musical background required.
Volunteer jobs may include:
Checking in audience members using a computer (training provided)
Running materials between staff and musicians
Directing audience members to the bathroom
Seating groups
Unloading event materials from a truck (no more than 50 lbs.)
Setup/Teardown of around 60 chairs
Facilitating an activity station with instruments, games, or crafts

About Inside the Orchestra

Mission Statement
Our mission is to bring orchestra music to young children in the greater Denver metropolitan community, cultivating music appreciation and enhancing their education through an engaging first-hand experience with the orchestra.
Description
Inside the Orchestra performs for children across Denver Metro. Our unique format where the audience sits on the floor surrounded by professional musicians puts the children literally "inside the orchestra". This immersive, educational experience is something entirely one-of-a-kind. The concert is led by a teaching artist who guides the children through the music encouraging them to engage in imagination-based activity. Audience members are given an up close demo of each section of the orchestra; strings, woodwinds, horns and percussion. Each concert also features additional activities such as an instrument petting zoo (where children can get hands on with real instruments) and a music-themed craft for all to enjoy.
Our shows have a suggested ticket price of $12 per person over 12 months, and financial assistance is always available. We currently perform in Boulder, Denver, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas Counties.
