The Sunnyvale Heritage Museum needs docents for it's School Program. School Program Docents take a group of 8 students through the museum and discuss the history of the city of Sunnyvale as well as life in the late 1800's. Docents will be trained and do not need to memorize the material. Tours run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 11:30 am. Docents pick which days they want to volunteer and do not need to be consistent. All you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to work with elementary school children. Last year we had to turn away several schools due to a lack of volunteers. Even volunteering once a month would be immensely helpful. For more information contact angela@heritageparkmuesum.org
