Help DSFF with Our iCan! programs at the University of Central Florida
Dates (All Saturdays) in 2024 & 2025:
Saturday, December 7, 2024
Saturday, January 25, 2025
Saturday, February, 22. 2025
- College and Career Prep: Helping with registration.
- iCan! Excel: Helping with registration.
- iCan! Learn: How you can help! Our youngest members are divided into groups. Those groups will go through rotating sessions in which they will learn key developmental skills. The rotating sessions involve moving the children from room to room until all the sessions (usually about 4) have been completed. One volunteer per child would be ideal. We also need a "timekeeper" position to track the timing of each session and to give 5-minute warnings to all the rooms as they are wrapping up their session. A few volunteers are needed at the end of the program to reset the rooms and sanitize high-touch areas. Thank you!
