Lowcountry Center for Academic Equity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in May 2022. LCAE's mission is provide academic services and resources to students and families to close the academic and testing gap. We provide high-quality academic tutoring on a sliding scale. We are currently seeking three board members who live in Charleston, SC and have a passion for education, social justice, and moxie to ensure that the project is successful. LCAE invites candidates who have previous board experience and/or can offer mastery skills in the legal field, accounting/CPA skills, fundraising and grant-writing skills, and/or a robust network that can be utilized to develop LCAE. We have board meetings once a month. In between the board meetings, board members are actively working to grow the organization. If you believe you would be a great fit for our organization, please reach out!
