The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is looking for volunteers to help us during this 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for enthusiastic, personable, and friendly individuals that could lead tours for various ages and grade levels. We provide training on the different programs and any galleries you are not familiar with.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30 am until 12 pm
Ages: 21 and over
Extra Information: P rior experience with conducting tours or working with children.
Any prior knowledge of natural history, paleontology, marine sciences, paleontology, animals, plants, or ancient civilizations is a plus. This just makes you more comfortable with the galleries we have.
Individuals requiring community service hours for school or scholarships are welcome to apply. If interested, you must apply and schedule an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator to be approved as a tour guide.
*** This volunteer opportunity cannot accommodate court-mandated community service hours.

- This will be a Monday through Friday opportunity. As we schedule more tours, we will need tour guides to keep up with the demand. 9:30 am until tour dismissal at 12pm. Extra times will be needed in order to train you on how to conduct tours
