Are you a lover? Or someone who feels genuine joy when they are helping others? These two qualities are ones possessed by saints and angels. It is rare to come by people who are willing to donate their free time to spending precious moments with essential strangers. A little simple companionship goes a long way.
As a volunteer, you will assist by visiting the same patient weekly, which will inevitably form a bond. Through general conversation, discussion of likes and dislikes, card games, music sessions, craft activities in the facilities, you have the chance to make a true difference and presence in the patients lives.
Schedules are extremely flexible, as we just want smiling faces to show up for our wonderful patients. If this opportunity calls to you, please do not hesitate and apply.
