Hospice volunteers are an integral part of Tabitha’s Hospice team, providing emotional, physical and spiritual support to clients-as well as their families-in the last stages of life.
Volunteers may offer services such as respite care, bereavement support, companionship, pet therapy, pinning ceremonies and veteran-to-veteran programs.
Once a hospice volunteer application is accepted, we will provide you with specialized training to prepare you for this unique and rewarding opportunity. The length of commitment may vary from a one-time visit to multiple visits over several weeks or months.
