Volunteering to meet with girls aged 7-18 monthly to enrich, encourage, motivate and provide leadership skills. Share your talents, skills and experience. Its only for3 hours on a Saturday, but it will mean so much to the youth that you connect with. You will volunteer and plan workshops that focus on community, career and culture including speaker presentations, financial literacy sessions, etiquette training, public speaking, showing kindness and appreciation towards veterans and senior citizens. Director and board membership positions available.

Description

Rare Pearls Mentoring and Leadership Program, Inc started in 2015 in Douglasville, Ga. Coweta county is one of several new chapters hosted in Newnan, Ga. Our vision is focused on individual self-esteem, character, competence and integrity. We also focus on community, culture and career for girls aged 7-18. Our goal is to meet our mentees where they are, to help them develop leadership skills by offering support, training, encouragement and empowerment, while allowing them to be the person they were created to be. Mentoring is an excellent opportunity for student teachers. We are also in need of leadership women with expertise in finance, planning/logistics, fundraising and administration to join our board.
