Mercy Education Project (MEP) is a learning community that believes every girl has a right to reach her full potential. MEP focuses on math and reading improvement with evidenced based, one-to-one tutoring for girls grades 2-12. All tutors are volunteers and we need both weekly tutors and substitutes. We help girls who are one or more years behind their grade level in reading or math to gain the academic confidence they need to succeed in school. We help to broaden our student's experiences with STEAM and socio-emotional focused activities before tutoring to help grow well-rounded girls with high self-esteem and leadership skills.
