As a blood drive volunteer, you will engage blood donors by greeting, registering, answering questions, providing information, and supporting them through the recovery process at the refreshments table. The special attention you give helps create a favorable impression that encourages ongoing donor support. The Red Cross provides all the training needed and you can sign up for shifts that fit your schedule.

Description
The American Red Cross Central Appalachia Region includes all of West Virginia, plus counties in Ohio, Kentucky, Maryland and Virginia. We serve our communities every day by responding to local disasters, encouraging life-saving blood donations, preparing our communities for emergencies and providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran or support to a military family member. 90% of our workforce are volunteers and it is through the time and care of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things.
