Recruiting Organization: AmeriCorps VISTA University of Central Arkansas
The VISTA project will augment organizational capacity by achieving outcomes related to community relations and development. The VISTA will support the Community Outreach Director in strategic planning, volunteer management, data management, partner development and stewardship, and grant-writing related to COHO’s four initiatives: community development, education, housing, and nutrition. The VISTA member will fight poverty by creating client-intake policies, recruiting volunteers, developing fundraising plans, and data entry, which will connect impoverished citizens to community resources so that citizens can enjoy an improved quality of life.
