We're expanding our ESL program and we need volunteers! We are looking for volunteer ESL teachers, substitute teachers, and teaching assistants.

The classes are taught twice a week in 8-week sessions and we are looking for volunteers that can commit to teaching an entire session. We offer classes on Mon/Wed and on Tues/Thurs. Morning classes are from 9:30-11:30 AM at International House, and our evening classes are offered from 6-8 PM at two library branches: Plaza Midwood and South Blvd. We're currently recruiting teachers for our class session that runs from October 13th - December 14th, 2024.

Volunteers are required to attend an ESL Teacher Training Workshop to prepare for the fall classes. We have two upcoming training options available: August 26, 27, and 28 from 6-8 PM (Tues/Wed/Thurs evening), or a full-day training on September 4th from 9AM-3PM (Tues daytime).
