ORGANIZATION: United Way of Martin County/AmeriCorps Seniors

Volunteer United/AmeriCorps Seniors recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County, matching volunteer interests and skills to create a meaningful, rewarding volunteer experience.

The mission of this organization is to lift the community and change lives together through the collective power of fundraising, volunteerism, advocacy and character building.

Volunteers are needed to join a "Stand By" list should any disaster occur in Martin County. This list is for those who MAY be interested in assisting - not a guarantee to serve as circumstances are ever changing. Should assistance be needed, we would email volunteers on this list to inquire if you are available. Specifics would then be given.
If you are willing to join this "Stand By" list, let us know your specific skills. For example: carpenter, nurse, student etc.

May be 15 -17 with an adult or 18+ , groups welcomed should it be Hurricane preparedness.

Contact us for more information and an application.
