With this training, you will help older adults choose the correct Medicare Part D prescription drug plan to best suits their needs! Our volunteer Benefits Counselors are part of the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP).
Training will take place thru the summer to be ready for Medicare open enrollment in the fall of 2022, 10/15-12/7. We ask that Couselors are able to give 4 hours per week (generally between the hours of 830-430) during open enrollment. Volunteer positions will be virtual, answering questions from the comfort of home.
*Volunteers for this position cannot be licensed insurance agents.
