Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Man 2 Man UYA’s (Urban Youth Advocate) upcoming event celebration HUMAN Family Fun Day! Man 2 Man is a non-profit organization deeply committed to breaking the cycle of father absence for families of color in the SF Bay Area by providing culturally relevant knowledge, skills, resources, and support for young men and fathers to thrive.
We’re looking for a total of 14 volunteers - there are a variety of jobs available such as:
- Greeter/Info Booth (1)
- Stage Lead & Stagehand (2)
- Bounce House Captains (2)
- Arts & Crafts/Face Painting Station (2)
- BOH/Entertainment Liaison (1)
- Man 2 Man Greeters (to sit at the organization’s table)(2)
- Floaters (assisting with various tasks) (3)
We’re asking volunteers to commit to a 7 AM - 10 PM day, but we’re flexible and open to shorter shift times:
7 AM - 1 PM
1 PM - 6 PM
5 PM - 10 PM
Snacks and beverages will be provided for all volunteers.
It's going to be a long and fun filled day - live music, fun activities, and the celebration of fathers', families', and our organization. We look forward to seeing you there!

Mission Statement
We are a nonprofit deeply committed to breaking the cycle of Father Absence for our families of color in the SF Bay Area, by providing the culturally relevant knowledge, skills, resources, and support for young men and Fathers to thrive. Informed and compelled by our lived experience, we harness decades of evidence based research to design and customize our Fatherhood, and Life Skills curriculum, to address the unique needs of low-income men and families of color.
Description
Since 2016, M2M has provided comprehensive programs, and wraparound services via key partners, centered on healing, self-actualization, and creating a new foundation for lasting systems change. New positive belief systems, broad based life skills, Fatherhood education, mentorship, community, and job readiness and placement, are the core elements of our work.
