Job: Fundraising Coordinator (Volunteer)
Cause: Supporting families of children with developmental differences
Location: Temecula, CA (REMOTE). This is a remote role with flexible hours
The Role
Skyrocket Pediatric Therapy Foundation is searching for a motivated volunteer with experience in building fundraising campaigns to help us build a monthly calendar of both digital and local fundraising opportunities to help us achieve our mission. We are looking for someone willing to lend their time and expertise to our non-profit organization centered around supporting families of children with developmental differences. We are based in Temecula, CA but this position is remote and we are open to applicants in the Southern California area. We host and participate in a handful of events throughout the year and it would be great to have this person join us onsite when available. Earn your volunteer hours while helping us raise funds for child development resources, therapy services and screenings, community events and more.
Responsibilities include:
- Create a monthly fundraising calendar that includes a variety of digital/virtual and in-person fundraising events and campaigns
- Manage fundraising campaigns that align to Skyrocket’s mission, monthly themes around child development, event promotions and more
- Target and build a network of community supporters to aid in our fundraising efforts which includes identifying local restaurants, businesses, and partner organizations to support our fundraising initiatives
- Attend occasional live events throughout the year (if you are local) with Skyrocket Therapy upon request where needed to help staff and raise awareness of our mission
Requirements:
- Knowledge in fundraising and research for non-profit organizations
- Grant writing (preferred, not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Google Apps
- Approximate 2-3 hour commitment per week, depending on availability
