The Vice President shall assist the President in the carrying out of his/her duties and shall preside at all meetings in the absence of the President.
President’s Duties:
The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and all regular or special meetings of the Society. If unable to fulfill those duties, the President will appoint a Board member in his/her place. The President shall supervise all phases of the Society's work, subject to instructions of the Board. The President shall appoint at-large Board members and all major committee chairs subject to the approval of the Board. The President shall regularly consult with and direct, subject to the instructions of the Board, any employees of the Society.
The Society currently has 1 employee (Executive Director) that the President and Board supervise.

- Visionary and engaging leader with strong communication skills
- Passion for the mission of Pilchuck Audubon and a dedicated interest in keeping common birds common and rare birds protected
- Excellent organizational skills
- Enthusiastic, people person

Pilchuck Audubon Society (PAS) is a grass-roots environmental organization with members throughout Snohomish County and Camano Island, Washington.
Our mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems focusing on birds and other wildlife for the benefit of the earth’s biological diversity. Education, advocacy, community activism, and community science are the major avenues we will use to achieve our goal to protect and enhance the natural environment in Snohomish County, Camano Island and the State of Washington.
We serve as a local chapter of the National Audubon Society. PAS is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Washington.
