Occasionally, even the most devoted pet owners can face financial challenges in providing for their furry companions. As a member of the Perry PRC Product Team, you'll play a vital role in assisting these pet parents by ensuring they have access to the necessary supplies to care for their beloved pets, thereby keeping families together.
We're currently seeking volunteers to join us at our Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Dr. Dallas, TX 75212) for our drive-thru pet food distribution event. During this event, we'll be distributing a limited supply of dog and cat food to support our community. Volunteers will assist with crowd management, registration, and transporting bags of food to our customers.
Volunteer opportunities are available every third Sunday of the month, with specific times adjusted according to current conditions.
Volunteers aged 10 and older are welcome to participate. However, those under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or older.
To get started with volunteering, you'll need to create a volunteer account and complete the initial steps. There's a $15 volunteer fee per person to cover onboarding costs. Once these steps are completed, you'll be eligible to sign up for an Orientation session, where you'll receive additional training and information.

Mission Statement
The SPCA of Texas is dedicated to providing every animal exceptional care and a loving home.
Description
The SPCA of Texas is the leading animal welfare agency in North Texas. We operate two animal shelters, located near downtown Dallas and in McKinney, which, together with our community partners for offsite adoptions, find homes for more than 6,000 animals each year. We do not euthanize animals for lack of space and we do not place time limits on animals housed in our shelters. We also operate public veterinary clinics in West Dallas, South Oak Cliff and McKinney to provide high-quality pet care at affordable prices and we collaborate with community partners to spay or neuter tens of thousands of animals each year.
In a typical year, our five-member Rescue and Investigations team responds to 2,000 calls and rescues more than 1,000 abandoned or cruelly treated animals in 8 North Texas counties. Our education and outreach programs reach more than 20,000 Texans each year with a message of compassion and responsibility.
Our independent non-profit organization is not affiliated with the ASPCA or any other humane society and we do not receive taxpayer funding. Your support helps us make life better for more than 50,000 animals and the people who love them - right here in our community.
