At The Envisioneers, we strive to address and alleviate systemic inequities in public education. Our approach involves developing the academic and social-emotional abilities of our students through project-based learning and community mentorship. As a student volunteer with Envisioneers, you will have the opportunity to choose from over 50 course curriculums and teach a subject that you are passionate about. This 11-week commitment includes 10 weeks of 90-minute classes, culminating in a final presentation event (WOW) lasting for 2 hours. Student volunteer mentors will also have the opportunity to network with corporate volunteers from companies like Texas Instruments, Intel, and etc. If you are interested in learning more about the locations, curriculums, calendar, and volunteer application process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to combat systemic inequity in education by fostering and cultivating the academic and social-emotional skills of our scholars while exposing them to project-based learning and community mentors

Description

Envisioneers leverages an Expanded Learning Day model to re-imagine the way scholars learn. We foster and cultivate the academic and social emotional skills of our scholars while exposing them to career pathways through project-based learning and community mentors.

Envisioneers was a former division of Citizen Schools, a national organization with decades-long experience and a track record for developing a powerful Expanded Learning Time (ELT) Program. This team has a proven record of impact on student growth and school culture through delivering hands-on learning and volunteer mentors from the community.

We could not do this without our partner schools, volunteers, staff members, and supporters like you.
