Earth Day "Climb for Climate" Challenge Event at the Observatory and Trillium-all volunteers treated to refreshments at Trillium following their shift!
Beginning on Earth Day, Friday April 22, 2022 through Sunday, April 24 from 9am to 4pm, we are inviting our community to climb Great Blue Hill and to stop by the Observatory to be counted as a participant in our "Climb for Climate" Challenge. Our goal is to encourage as many people as possible to make the "Climb for Climate" Challenge as a way to celebrate "Mother Earth" on her special day.
Once individuals make the climb their participation will be counted on our LED Electronic Display Board that will count up-reflecting everyone person who took the climb challenge-from Friday through Sunday. For those social media savvy participants we will take a pic in front of the Observatory and post what Earth Day means to you our social media feeds.
Additionally, each climber will receive a raffle ticket for prizes from our new neighbor Trillium-a renowned brewery and restaurant. We be flying kites at Trillium on their expansive lawn, Friday, Saturday, April 22 & Sunday, April 24 from 2 pm to 4 pm. We need several volunteers at that location as well.
Again, all volunteers will be invited to Trillium following their shift for refreshments. https://trilliumbrewing.com/
