Within the CDC Social Distancing guidelines, the Volunteer will:
- Assist the Outreach Team with
a. administrative tasks, outreach/recruitment events
b. managing foster parent files,
c. outreach to community groups/organizatons, through social media/flyers/graphics etc.
Key Responsibilities
The Volunteer will work closely with the Outreach Team to help implement the outreach and recruitment strategy.
Depending on the agency guidelines regarding Covid 19, safety protocols, work may take place in the office, or remotely.
Key tasks include organizing and monitoring foster parents documentation and files as well as well as to the broader community through events, emails, phone calls and/or social media. Training will be provided.
Skills & Abilities: work with diverse populations/backgrounds. Uphold strict confidentiality and privacy. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Present professionally/friendly to community while representing the Agency.
Requirements & Training: Live Scan background clearance (Agency paid) and TB clearance. Ability to self transport to engagements if/when necessary.
